Men's Golf Takes 8th at LVC Invite

LEBANON, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's golf team registered an eighth-place finish at the Lebanon Valley Invitational.

The Bears totaled 340 shots at Lebanon Country Club, where the host Dutchmen collected the team title with a 306.

Junior Brian Barrett and freshman Kyle Quagliero paced the Bears with matching rounds of 82, tying for 13th in the individual standings. Barrett birdied the par-5 2nd hole along with seven pars, while Quagliero posted birdie on the par-5 7th and the par-5 15th.

Junior Ryan Hodgdon shot an 83, tallying nine pars and only one hole above a bogey.

Freshman John Murray backed up his career-best round (94) at the Revolutionary Collegiate Classic with a second consecutive collegiate low, this time going one show better at 93. He totaled five pars in recording a 40 on the front nine.

Junior Daniel Schlitt was right on Murray's heels with a 94, which included four pars and a consistent 47 on each set of nine holes.

Freshman Kai Toomey carded a 98 while playing as an individual, netting par on the par-3 14th.

The Bears are next in action when they host the annual Ursinus Invitational at Stonewall on Tuesday, April 9.
