Men's Basketball gets past Dickinson, 82-77

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus got a game-high 26 points from senior guard Matt Hilton (Lewistown, Pa./Lewistown Area) and 19 points from sophomore forward Jon Ward (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) as the Bears (8-11, 5-7 Centennial) defeated Dickinson (9-10, 7-5 Centennial) 82-77 on Saturday afternoon in men's basketball action.

The Bears converted on 34-of-44 foul shots, with Hilton going a percent 10-for-10 in the contest. The Bears had an 11-point halftime lead and led by as much as 16 points in the second half before Dickinson rallied to within three late. A pair of Hilton foul shots from seven seconds left gave the Bears the final five point advantage.

Freshman guard Jesse Krasna (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) had 13 points in the win.

For Dickinson, senior forward Matt Dolan had 25 points, one of four Red Devil players in double figures. 

The Bears had a 38-29 lead on the glass, with Krasna and Dolan each grabbing seven rebounds.

Ursinus heads to F&M on Wednesday for a critical Cenennial Conference game.
