BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Ten Ursinus College gymnasts were named Scholastic All-Americans by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) as the organization announced its academic awards on Monday.
Emma Brown, Breanna Couts, Hailey DiCicco, Skylar Haas, Eleanor LaFountain, Matisen O'Brien, Gabriella Pitt, Lindsay Rush, Danielle Terrenzio, and Sabrina Tusavitz were all recognized with Scholastic All-America honors, given to those achieved a 3.5 grade-point average during the 2018-19 academic year.
With nearly 60 percent of the squad maintaining at least a 3.5, the Bears came in at 59th in the WCGA's team GPA rankings with a team GPA of 3.34.
O'Brien and Rush were previously recognized as Academic All-Americans by the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA).
