HOW IT HAPPENED

With two outs down, Delaney Baker drove in Heather Lazer, who reached first on an infield error, as Ursinus led 3-0 after one half inning.
  • Brennan wasn't the only one to crack a leadoff triple in the first game of the morning, as freshman Kaitlin Pettenger (Flanders, N.J.) belted one to center field to start the Leopards off strong. Sophomore Briana Beverly (Pawcatuck, Conn.) plated Pettenger with a groundout to short, putting Wentworth on the board 3-1.
  • Julia Bollentin (South Kingstown, R.I.) drove in the Leopards' second run of the game with a two-out single to right in the third, but Ursinus allowed just four Leopards to reach base throughout the contest, none of which were able to plate home.
