rd-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team rolled its third Centennial Conference win of the season on Saturday, shutting out visiting Ursinus, 9-0.

How it Happened
• Hopkins dropped just three games in grabbing a sweep of the doubles matches. Sophomore
Dhanya Asokumar and freshman
Jessica Liang won 8-1 at first over Caitlyn Sorelle and Brenna Trkula. Seniors
Chrissy Simon and
Kimberly Zou won by the same score at second over Maddie Russell and Cara Freedman. Senior
Mika Inadomi and freshman
Lillian Oliver also won by an 8-1 score, beating Madisen Harvey and Jessica Leach at third.
• The Blue Jays then swept the singles matches to complete the shutout victory. Liang rallied after losing the first set to defeat Sorelle 4-6, 6-0, 1-0 (5) at first. Senior
Katie Gauch lost just one game in her win over Russell at second 6-0, 6-1.
• Simon was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at third over Trkula to clinch the win. Sophomore
Margo Gerke did not drop a game in her win over Summer Burkholder at fourth. Freshman
Anya Gunewardena lost just one game in each set in her victory over Harvey at fifth. And freshman
Sophie Saland defeated Freedman 6-3, 6-0 at sixth.

• Hopkins improves to 23-2 all-time against Ursinus and has won 21 straight in the series.
• Zou moves into a tie for 10
th in school history with her 46
th career doubles victory.

• Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, April 6 as the Blue Jays travel to Allentown, PA to take on Muhlenberg. The Centennial Conference match is scheduled to start at 11:00 am.
