India Anderson is in her third season as an assistant coach with the Ursinus College gymnastics program. India is responsible for choreographing routines, producing music, vault, floor exercise, leotard design and helping HC Kim Valenti with recruiting.

The Bears saw continued success on the vault and floor exercises under Anderson's leadership. Ursinus posted their season high on the vault (47.700) in their final meet of the season at the NCGA East Regionals on March 12th. Behind Anderson's hard work the Bears saw five career highs in the event. As senior Taylor Cusick registered a new career-best of 9.62, first-year Madison Zimmerman followed Cusick with a 9.575, a new career-high for the event. Junior Alex Panetta and sophomore Carly Troilo also posted a new career-high scores for the vault by recording a 9.550 and 9.500, respectively. Sophomore Ashley Cromer was the fifth Bear to set a new career-best on the vault by posting a 9.450. 

In their opening meet of the season, Ursinus recorded their season high for Floor exercises as the Bears totaled 47.575. Kaylin Knapsack earned a career-best 9.8 followed up by Alyssa DeLorme with a 9.550. 

Since her arrival in Collegeville, the Bears have produced four All-Americans. Most recently, Alyssa DeLorme who finished fifth in the All-Around at the 2022 NCGA Championships. She registered a career best score of 9.550 on the vault which tied for the highest tally on the vault among the eight gymnasts battling for all-around scores. DeLorme also posted a 9.475 on her floor routine. 

In 2020, Kaylin Knapsack finished third in the region and fourth in Division III on the floor exercise. The sophomore was consistently sensational, posting at least a 9.550 on every routine with a high of 9.775 in a tri-meet at Ithaca; Knapsack's overall average of 9.688 is second only to Springfield's Tali Twomey.

Behind the leadership of head coach Kim Valenti and Anderson, the Bears have seen tremendous success in the classroom as well, whose squad raised its overall GPA from 3.34 in 2019 to 3.51 in 2020 and again to a robust 3.75 for the 2021 school year. The Bears ascended to 22nd in the team GPA rankings for all divisions, well up from 51st in 2020 and 59th in 2019 and believed to be the best overall placement in team history. Ursinus registered the 4th-highest GPA among Division III programs nationwide. Since 2019, the team has received 30 Scholastic All-American honors from either the NCGA or WCGA. 

Anderson comes to Collegeville following an impressive career at Temple University, where she earned first team All-ECAC honors on the floor during the 2019 campaign. As a senior co-captain, Anderson was named ECAC specialist of the year and was instrumental in leading the Owls to their first ECAC championship in program history. She was also a three-time ECAC Specialist of the Week and qualified for the NCAA Athens Regional on the floor, scoring a 9.825. Coincidentally, her career-best floor score (9.9) came in a quad meet that also featured Ursinus.

Since graduating in June, Anderson has worked as a level 6-10 coach with Lake Murray Gymnastics, where she is responsible for implementing drills and spotting for all four events. She also spent time as a group leader for Temple's Elite Performance Camp, serving as a coach and trainer for levels 9-10 and conducting campus tours.

A native of South Carolina, Anderson boasts international experience, having taken part in the Zelena Jama Open in Slovenia (2010) before competing at the Worthersee Cup in Austria (2013) and the Gym-Festival Trnava in Slovakia.

Anderson graduated from Temple in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
