65 Bears Named to Spring Academic Honor Roll

65 Bears Named to Spring Academic Honor Roll

2020 CC Spring Academic Awards

LANCASTER, Pa. – Sixty-five Ursinus College student-athletes were recognized for their outstanding performance in the classroom as members of the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester.

To be named to the CC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.40.

Junior Hakan Atillasoy was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year for men's lacrosse, awarded this spring to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA among returning all-conference performers in each respective sport. An applied economics major with a concentration in finance, Atillasoy carries a sparkling 3.95 GPA.

Atillasoy was one of nine returning Academic All-Centennial honorees, an accolade reserved for all-conference players who also qualify for the Academic Honor Roll.

Atillasoy, Mackenzie Brennan (softball), Morgan Comfort (softball), Rosie Cuomo (women's track and field), Kate Hunt (women's track and field), Tom Jacobs (baseball), Griffin McMann (men's track and field), Jon Moldoff (baseball), and Evan Scott (men's lacrosse) earned special recognition on the Academic All-Centennial Team, which honors those student-athletes who received both all-conference and Academic Honor Roll status.

Below is the list of the Ursinus student-athletes who made the Academic Honor Roll. An asterisk indicates a member of last year's Academic All-Centennial Team; for track and field, Academic All-CC performers made the All-CC roster during the indoor season.
