Women's XC Lights Up Twilight Meet

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College cross country teams lit up the night with some sensational times at the fifth annual Fall Twilight meet last week.

A bevy of Bear runners moved up – or onto – the program's prized "Lucky 13 List," which sixth-year head coach Carl Blickle instituted at the beginning of his tenure and encapsulates the 3200-meter time trial at the Twilight meet.

Rachel Conhoff was a runaway winner, debuting at fifth on the top-13 list with a mark of 11:41.97. Holly Chambers was second across the line in a collegiate-best 12:18.83 (9th) and was joined in the top-13 by Lauren Ferguson (12:22.33, 11th) and Katherine Moore (12:31.41, 13th).

Mary Zukus (12:37.59), Alexandra West (12:42.17), Meredith Steele (12:42.93), Jenna Lozzi (13:11.56), Alyson Manley (13:14.783), Bianca Joseph (13:14.92), and Amanda Choi (13:30.08) all ran personal bests.

Jill Rotman clocked a college-best 5:48.51 in the open mile.

Friday night's race marked the fifth edition of the annual event, which serves as a tune-up for the NCAA Mideast Regional Championship and presents an opportunity for the current team to compete against alumni in a fun atmosphere.
