NEWVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's cross country team competed at the Long/Short Invitational on Saturday afternoon hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School.
The team finished 15th with a score of 182. Results from the 4k and 6k race were combined to determine the team score.
In the 4k race, freshman Brittany Gasser finished with a time of 15:52, in her first collegiate race. She has a pace of 6:23 per mile. Alicia Baker and Krista Snyder finished with times of 17:13 and 17:37 respectively, to round out the top three.
In the 6k race, three runners set personal bests. Riley Engel had a 24:52, Gabby Manto had a 26:14, while Morgan Cope had a 27:24. Danielle Grimes had a 27:43.
