Women's XC takes on Mustang Stampede

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Ursinus College women's cross country team was seventh overall at the Mustang Stampede hosted by Stevenson/Johns Hopkins on a rainy Saturday with a score of 189 points.

Top Finisher

The top finisher for the Bears was freshman Riley Engel (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) at 24:54 (27thoverall).

Bears Other Finishers'
Junior Alicia Baker (York, Pa./York Suburban) was second on the team at 26:25 (a personal best), while Senior Danielle Grimes (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) in third at 27:04.
Freshman Gabrielle Manto (Robbinsville, N.J./Robbinsville) was fourth at 27:06
Freshman Morgan Cope (Olympia, Wash./Capital) fifth at 28:04.
Junior Sam Innes (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) at 28:32 and senior Amanda Sierzega (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) at 28:45 rounded out the finishers
