DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - The Ursinus College cross country team opened up the 2009 season at the Delaware Valley Invitational Saturday afternoon.

For the women, the Bears finished in third at 72 points, just two points behind top finisher West Chester. The men were sixth with 136 points.

For the women, the top finisher was sophomore Lauren Alexandra (Pottstown, Pa./Villa Marie Academy) with a time of 24:00.76, she placed second overall. Senior Dante Dimidio (Yardley, Pa./Holy Ghost Prep) was tops for the men at 27:59.28.
