WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel swept a 3-0 decision from Ursinus in volleyball play on Monday night. Set scores were 25-12, 25-14 and 25-12.

For Ursinus, Karla Thiele had seven kills, with Allison Raff having four. Moriah Suzuki had ten assists with Raff getting ten digs. Raff also had two service aces.

Ursinus took an early 2-0 lead in the opening set as Raff had a kill on an assist from Jackie Jordan, while the Bears got their second point on an attack error by the Green Terror.

After McDaniel went on an 8-0 run, Ursinus got two back on a service error and a service ace by Raff.

In the second set, both teams traded the lead with, Ursinus tying the score at 9-all on a kill by Thiele. The Green Terror then went on a 5-0 lead to take a 14-9 edge.

In the third and final set, Ursinus and McDaniel again traded leads before the Bears tied the score at 8-all on a 3-0 run with a service ace by Kathryn Yoo.

Ursinus hosts Swarthmore on Wednesday.
