CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Washington College earned a 3-0 victory over Ursinus on Wednesday night in volleyball play.
Set scores were 25-16, 25-19 and 25-17.
Ursinus (7-15, 2-6 Centennial) got seven kills each from junior middle blocker Anahi McIntyre (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West)) and sophomore setter Gina Powers (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven). Senior middle blocker Kristin Hanratty (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) added in four.
Powers added in 12 assists, with Hanratty taking seven.
Senior defensive specialist Kaitlyn Ott (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) had four service aces, while sophomore libero Leah Masiello (Wilmington, Del./St. Elizabeth's) had 11 digs. Powers had ten digs for the Bears, who host Dickinson Saturday.
