COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College volleyball team won its second straight Centennial Conference match, evening its league mark to 2-2, with a 3-1 win over McDaniel on Saturday
Set scores were 26-24, 23-25, 25-23 and 25-21.
The big story of the match was the play of senior middle blocker Kristin Hanratty (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson). The senior had 28 kills in the four-set match to just one error on 36 attempts for a .750 hitting percentage. Kayla McLeod had 15 kills, while Anahi McIntyre had 11.
Sophomore setter Gina Powers (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) had 51 assists in the win.
Defensively, Leah Masiello (Wilmington, Del./St. Elizabeth's) had 12 digs.
Powers and Masiello each had two service aces for Ursinus, who will host Haverford on Wednesday.
