Volleyball blanked by Swarthmore, 3-0

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Swarthmore earned a straight set victory over Ursinus on Wednesday night in volleyball play by a 3-0 score.

Set scores were 25-14, 25-10 and 25-19.

For Ursinus, senior middle blocker Kristin Hanratty (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) had a team-high six kills, while sophomore setter Gina Powers (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) chipped in with five.

Powers chipped in with seven assists, with senior defensive specialist Kaitlyn Ott (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) taking three assists.

Defensively, sophomore libero Leah Masiello (New Castle, Del./St. Elizabeth's) had ten digs with Powers getting seven and Joy Oakman adding in five.

Junior middle blocker Anahi McIntyre (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) had two solo blocks for Ursinus, who will travel to Immaculata for a tri-match along with Alvernia.
