COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College volleyball team dropped its home opener on Tuesday night to the Pride of Widener University, 3-0.

Set scores were 25-18, 25-13 and 25-19.

For Ursinus (3-2), junior middle blocker Anahi McIntyre (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) and senior middle blocker Kristin Hanratty (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) each had six kills.

Sophomore setter Gina Powers (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) had a team-high 17 assists, with sophomore libero Leah Masiello (New Castle, Del./St. Elizabeth's) scooping up 14 digs.

Widener was led by sophomore Kaitlin Schnalzer with nine kills.

Ursinus heads to the Stevenson Tournament on Saturday.
