Aces High for volleyball in win over PSU-Harrisburg

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Everything seemed to come up aces on Tuesday night in Ursinus' volleyball match against Penn State-Harrisburg, as the Bears used the power of 14 service aces in a 3-0 blanking of the Lions.

Set scores were 25-9, 25-12 and 25-11.

For Ursinus, who moved to 8-6 on the young season, senior Kim Goldberg (Sarasota, Fla./Out of Door Academy) had ten kills with junior Kristin Hanratty (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) grabbing six.

Senior Elizabeth Roth (York, Pa./Dallastown Area) and junior Erica Dickey (Camp Hill, Pa./Trinity) each picked up four service aces. Roth had a match-high 14 assists, with freshman Gina Powers (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) taking 11.

Freshman Leah Masiello (New Castle, Del./St. Elizabeth's) had 19 digs defensive.

PSU-Harrisburg (2-11) was led by five kills from sophomore Chidere Igwe and nine assists from Madeline Daubert.
