Women's T&F Competes at Moravian, Widener

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's track and field team brought the majority of its squad to Moravian while sending a small group of distance runners to Widener on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Gianna Speranza (13.00), freshman Kate Hunt (13.07), and sophomore Molly Rodebaugh (13.28) all scored new personal bests in the 100-meter dash, with Speranza and Hunt moving into eighth and ninth, respectively, on the Centennial Conference performance list.

Rodebaugh also notched a big PR in the 200 (27.31), where sophomore Rachel Coleman's 26.33 was easily a collegiate best and good for sixth in the conference.

Sophomore Michela Coleman lowered her individual record by nearly a second in the 400 with a 1:02.64.

Sophomore Neve Durrwachter jumped into the top-10 in the conference with a 1:12.90 in the 400-meter hurdles.

Sophomore Meredith Steele blew past her former PR in the 1500 (5:30.74), and freshman Amanda Choi also clocked the best time of her career (5:52.44).

Sophomore Vikki Rueda-Juarez was not far off a personal best in the discus throw (29.54 meters).

At Widener, freshmen Rachel Conhoff (44:09.83) and Lauren Ferguson (44:16.12) competed in the 10k, and senior Riley Engel turned in a time of 19:11.65 in the 5k.
