SWARTHMORE, Pa. – A little over a week after winning a Centennial Conference gold meal, Ursinus track and field star Catherine Buczek was back in action seeking to improve her NCAA credentials at Swarthmore's final qualifying meet on Monday.
Against a loaded field featuring ten of the top 46 times in the nation, Buczek placed eighth with a mark of 1:04.46. Her championship-winning time of 1:02.97 from the CC meet was good for 34th in Division III at the conclusion of Monday's meet.
Buczek will have one more opportunity to move up the NCAA performance list when she travels to North Central College for the Gregory Invitational on Thursday.
