NEWARK, Del. – The Ursinus College women's track and field team finished sixth at the Thomson Invitational Saturday afternoon hosted by the University of Delaware with a score of 88 points.
Scoring points was junior Kirsten King who finished third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.51, while sophomore Victoria Goodenough was seventh with a time of 27.72.
King would win the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:01.46, while senior Lauren Goldstein was fourth with a mark of 1:02.91, freshman Jessica Matusky fifth with a time of 1:03.00 and junior Brianna Kramer was seventh at 1:03.82.
In the 1000, Goldstein was sixth at 3:20.74, while Kramer was seventh at 3:22.59.
In the one mile run, freshman Emily Lamb was seventh at 5:36.23.
Goodenough picked up a top finish in the 60 hurdles, with a time of 9.39.
In the high jump, sophomore Amy Galvin was second at 4-11, while junior Celina Sooksatan and sophomore Anna Lopresti were tied for third at 4-11.
In the pole vault, senior Lauren Surman was fifth at 9-10.
In the triple jump, senior Jen Wolf was sixth at 31-11.50, while sophomore Amanda Birnbrauer was sixth in the shot put at 32-02.50.
