Women's Tennis Duo Dubbed ITA Scholar-Athletes

TEMPE, Ariz. – Ursinus College women's tennis players Caitlyn Sorelle and Brenna Trkula were recognized for standout academic performances in being named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athletes.

To obtain Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letter winner, have a grade-point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year, and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.

Sorelle is a two-time recipient of the award, having also accomplished the feat following her rookie campaign. The rising senior played number one singles for the duration of last season, going 8-10 overall. She was joined by her number one doubles partner Trkula, who was 9-7 at number three singles.
