Women's Tennis Cruises Past McDaniel

WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Ursinus College women's tennis team had little trouble dispatching McDaniel, 9-0, in Centennial Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

BeVard and Ashley Nguyen were 8-1 winners over Maddy Simmons and Russell at first doubles, giving Nguyen her 39th career doubles victory to tie her for third in school history.

Sophomore Summer Burkholder and freshman Maddie Sorebo won easily, 8-1 at third doubles.

Playing on the top court for the first time this season, Nguyen knocked off Simmons 6-2, 6-3.
