CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Ursinus dropped a 7-2 decision on Washington in women's tennis play on Tuesday afternoon held indoors due to rain.
Ursinus got a point at number three doubles as senior Christina Lippe (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) and freshman Chelsea Carman (Novato, Calif./North Bay Marin School) defeated Kat Cohen and Kelsey Mills, 8-1.
Carman defeated Mills at number six singles by an 8-2 score for the other point in the match.
With the loss, Ursinus fell to 6-9 and 2-6 in the Centennial Conference.
