Men's, Women's Swimming Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. – The Ursinus College men's and women's swimming teams were among the 450 institutions honored with Scholar All-America recognition for the fall semester by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

"Coach Feinberg continues, year-in, year-out to do great things," said CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart. "These 24 men and women are some of the best ambassadors that Ursinus and the Centennial Conference could ask for."

The women's team posted a 3.61 GPA, finishing in the top-30 among the schools, while the men garnered a 3.39 to continue their extended trends of success in the classroom. Tuesday's news marks the seventh out of the last eight fall semesters in which both Bear programs have attained Scholar All-America status.

The CSCAA will present another set of Scholar All-America recipients following the spring semester.

The teams will wrap up their regular season dual meet schedule this Saturday at Dickinson with a 1 p.m. start.
