CARLISLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's swimming team started the 2012-13 season with a 113-92 win over Dickinson Saturday afternoon.

The meet started with the team of sophomore Anne Ludwig, junior Eva Russell, freshman Corinne Capodanno and sophomore Amanda Lucock winning the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:56.70.

Sophomore Chelsea Kozior took second in the 200 freestyle at 2:03.10.

In the 50 free, the Bears went 1-2 as Capodanno finished first at 24.90, followed by freshman Micaela Lyons in second place at 25.42.

In the 200 IM, junior Malena Lair Ferrari was the winner with a time of 2:16.35. Freshman Kyleigh Hamilton then won the 100 fly at 1:03.30.

Capodanno then added her second top finish of the day with a 54.33 in the 100 free.

Lair Ferrari won her second event of the day by taking the 100 back at 1:00.05, followed by Ludwig in second at 1:05.19.

Hamilton then won the 500 free at 5:32.74, followed by Kozior in second place at 5:33.40.

Ursinus took the final event, the 200 free relay, with a time of 1:43.92. The team was comprised of Lair Ferrari, Lucock, Ludwig and Chelsea Kozior.
