ALLENTOWN, Pa – Trailing 1-0 with under ten minutes remaining, the Ursinus women's soccer team tied with a late goal from Ama Achiaw to stay alive, and Jeannie Jasinski stole the game with an overtime goal defeated regionally ranked Muhlenberg 2-1 in overtime.

With the victory Ursinus captures the third seed in the Centennial Conference Tournament, finishing the season 9-6-2 and 4-4-1 in conference, their best finish since 2010.

Sophomore Courtney Sullivan had a solid day in the net for the Bears with six saves on fifteen shots from the Mules.

In the first half neither team could take the advantage with Muhlenberg outshooting the Bears 7-3, with Sullivan saving three.

It looked like Muhlenberg had sealed away the game in the 65th minute when Audrey Zamichow took the lead from a rebound off the post and put into the back of the net.

In the 83rd minute Ama Achiaw scored her second goal of the season when Valerie Bedrock sent it in through the middle of the box and put away by Achiaw to send it into overtime, 1-1.

Less than two minutes into overtime Jasinski stole away possession and scored from the six to shock Muhlenberg giving Ursinus the 2-1 victory and a seat at the Centennial Conference Tournament.

Ursinus will be the third seed in the Centennial Conference Tournament facing number six in the country Johns Hopkins next Saturday hosted by Gettysburg.
