WSoc tripped up by Johns Hopkins, 4-0

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Eighth-ranked Johns Hopkins scored 1:24 into the game, as the Blue Jays (11-2, 5-0 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (5-5-2, 3-1-2 Centennial) 4-0 Saturday afternoon in women's soccer action.

The loss marked the first defeat for the Bears since a loss nearly a month ago to Albright. The Bears had been unbeaten in their last six matches heading into the matchup with the Blue Jays.

Ana Bengoechea had a goal and an assist for Johns Hopkins, while Hannah Kronick notched two assists.

Alyssa Conti and Sophie Murphy each scored goals in win.

Sophomore goalkeeper Courtney Sullivan (Maple Glen, Pa./Gwynedd-Mercy Academy) made nine saves on the day.

Ursinus heads to Swarthmore on Wednesday.
