COLLEGEVILLE, PA - The Ursinus women's soccer team battled Gettysburg through two overtime periods but neither team could knock in a goal, ending in a 0-0 tie Saturday afternoon.

The Bears will move to 1-4-1 in their Centennial debut.

Ursinus goalkeeper Courtney Sullivan finished the day with five saves, including what would have been the winning goal for Gettysburg in the first overtime. The shot came off a defensive breakdown, when the ball was crossed right in front of the goal and Sullivan managed to hold on to the hard shot.

With 30 seconds left in the second overtime, Danielle Beal rocketed a shot to the goalkeeper making the game-saving block to stifle the Bears best chance of the game.

Ursinus continute their homestand facing Alvernia Wednesday at 7:30 P.M
