Women's Soccer closes home slate with 2-1 win over Eastern

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's soccer team closed out its home schedule with a 2-1 win over Eastern on Wednesday night at Patterson Field.

Ama Achiaw scored the game-winner in the 62nd minute off a feed from Nicole Good as Ursinus evened its record to 8-8-1.

Alexis Haug scored her third goal in the last two matches to give the Bears an early 1-0 lead on an assist from Good at 25:27.

Eastern (4-11-2) scored in the 47th minute when Victoria Graham scored unassisted. 

Kara DiJoseph made three saves, including one in the final minute to preserve the win.

Ursinus heads to Haverford on Saturday.
