COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Dickinson got two goals from senior forward Ashley Fields, including the game-winner with 1:31 left in the second overtime as the Red Devils (11-5, 5-4 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (2-8-4, 0-5-4 Centennial) 2-1 Saturday afternoon in women's soccer play.
Fields scored the goal on a rebound of her own shot, she had tied the score on a shot in the middle of scrum in front of the net in the 77th minute.
Ursinus led 1-0 after one half on a goal by sophomore forward Ama Achiaw (Damascus, N.J./Westover School) on an assist from sophomore forward Valerie Bedrock (Waldwick, N.J./Ramsey) in the 40th minute.
In goal, junior goalkeeper Kara DiJoseph (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) made nine saves in the contest.
Ursinus host PSU-Abington on Thursday.
