BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Homestanding Moravian scored in the 2nd minute of the game as the Greyhounds (2-1) defeated Ursinus (1-2) 2-1 on Thursday afternoon in women's soccer non-conference play.
Ursinus got on the board in the 89th minute as senior midfielder Leah Shaw (Bordentown, N.J./Bordentown Regional) scored her third goal of the season on a header. Junior defender MaryKate McCrea (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks West) got the assist.
In goal, junior Kara DiJoseph (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) made five saves.
Ursinus heads to the Engineering Cup hosted by Stevens this weekend and will battle host Stevens on Saturday.
