Women's Soccer falls to Dickinson in overtime, 2-1

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Dickinson's Samantha Friday scored with just 3:11 left in the first overtime as the Red Devils (4-2-1, 1-1 Centennial) handed Ursinus (4-3, 1-1 Centennial) a 2-1 loss Saturday afternoon in women's soccer play.

Friday scored off an assist from Genevieve Olsen as the Red Devils had an 11-5 advantage in shots.

Ursinus took an early 1-0 lead at 16:54 when junior forward Jess Porcelan (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) scored on an assist from junior midfielder Brittany Williams (Medford, N.J./Shawnee).

Dickinson tied the score at 1-all just 2:21 into the second half as Ashley Kunkle scored on an assist from Marissa Kunkle.

For Ursinus, freshman goalkeeper Kara DiJoseph (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) had seven saves.
