CARLISLE, Pa. - Dickinson's Hannah Richardson had two goals,
including the game-winning penalty kick with just 1:13 left in the
second overtime as the Red Devils (7-1, 1-1 Centennial) defeated
Ursinus (4-3, 1-1 Centennial) 2-1 in double overtime Saturday in
women's soccer play.
Richardson scored at 108:47 on the PK.
Ursinus took a 1-0 lead in the second half as sophomore midfielder
Brittany Williams (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) scored
on an assist from senior midfielder Megan Ascanio (Reading,
Pa./Exeter). Dickinson tied the score in the
73rd minute as Richardson scored on an assist from
Courtney Anderson.
Freshman goalkeeper Justine Harvey (Accident, Md./Northern
Garrett Co.) had seven saves for the Bears, who were
outshot 19-7.
Ursinus hosts Bryn Mawr on Tuesday afternoon.
