SWARTHMORE, Pa. - A quick goal three minutes into the second
half proved to be the game-winner as Swarthmore defeated Ursinus
2-0 on Wednesday night in a key Centennial Conference women's
soccer matchup.
Kelsey Cline scored on a goal just inside the right corner at 48:00
for a 1-0 lead, followed by a goal from Emily Coleman from Hannah
Deming at 72:56 for a 2-0 lead.
The Bears, who were outshot 19-6, got seven saves from freshman
goalkeeper Justine Harvey (Accident, Md./Northern Garrett
Co.).
Ursinus hosts Mansfield on Saturday.
