COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Johns Hopkins scored twice in the first half
as the Blue Jays (14-3, 9-1 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (8-7-1,
4-5-1 Centennial) 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at Wilkes Field.
Caitlin Moore started the scoring in the 36th minute as
she scored beating Ursinus freshman goalkeeper Claire
Yergeau (Ossining, N.Y./Ossining) for a 1-0 lead.
Right before the half, Johns Hopkins went up 2-0 as Paulina Goodman
scored on a kick from the left side.
The Blue Jays would score at 54:19 when Erin Stafford netted her
lone goal of the game.
The Bears were outshot 24-12, while Yergeau made 11 saves.
