SPARKS, Md. – Ursinus College women's lacrosse graduate Becca Lewis will close her career with another prestigious honor, as the senior defender was selected to the South roster for the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) Division III Senior All-Star Game.

The annual showcase pits 129 of the nation's top players –from Division I, II, and III – against each other in a North-South format. The Senior All-Star games are scheduled for June 5 on Tierney Field at the United States Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Maryland. The Division III contest is slated for 11 a.m. All games are free and will be live streamed on IWLCA-tv.com.

A first team All-Centennial Conference honoree, Lewis emerged as one of the most dominant defenders in the Centennial in 2022. She anchored the Bears defense by leading the conference with 60 ground balls and 46 caused turnovers. She started every game this season for Ursinus and closes out her career with 99 career ground balls and 79 caused turnovers. The 79 caused turnovers are the second most in career program history and her 46 caused turnovers this season are the second-most for a single-season, trailing just Kristen Calore who tallied 57 in the 2000 season. Lewis tallied four or more caused turnovers in five games this season while scooping up four or more ground balls in nine contests.

Lewis is one of five Centennial Conference players who were chosen for the Senior All-Star Game, all of whom will compete for the South squad.
