Liberatoscioli Lands All-CC Laurel

2018 All-CC Women's Lacrosse

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franny Liberatoscioli of the Ursinus College women's lacrosse team garnered honorable mention on the All-Centennial Conference team.

A senior attack, Liberatoscioli made the all-conference roster for the second consecutive season following a second team nod a year ago. The dynamic co-captain racked up 29 goals and eight assists, placing second on the Bears in both categories and leading the team with 37 points. Twelve of Liberatoscioli's goals came on free-position shots, and she led all CC players with nine in conference play.

In addition to her capabilities on attack, Liberatoscioli was an excellent two-way player and a force all over the field. She led Ursinus with 18 caused turnovers and ranked second with 50 caused turnovers in addition to registering 25 ground balls.

With three goals in the season finale at Dickinson, one of seven hat tricks for the season, Liberatoscioli finished her career with exactly 100 points on 81 goals and 19 assists. She also reached triple figures in draw controls (117) and ground balls (110) during her time in Collegeville.

Liberatoscioli was a mainstay from her first day with the program, starting all 64 games over her four seasons.

Another senior attack and team co-captain, Taylor DeBernardi, was chosen to the All-Sportsmanship Team. DeBernardi recorded career highs in points (19) and assists (7) this season; she ranked second on the team in assists, fourth in points, and fifth in goals (12).
