RADNOR, Pa. – Three goals each by junior midfielder Kitty Dawson, senior attack Amber Moyer and freshman attack Emma Ebert was more than enough for the Ursinus College women's lacrosse team on Monday afternoon, earning a 15-10 win over Cabrini at ER Dixon Field.

Freshman midfielder Jayme Verman continued her hot start, scoring two goals and assisting on five goals on the afternoon. Senior midfielder Nicole Kovacs scored twice, while sophomore attack Jessica Hill and sophomore midfielder Mary Deliberti each scored as Ursinus (2-1) scored 15 goals on 26 shots.

Ursinus scored seven of the game's first eight goals, jumping out to a 7-1 lead with 12:57 left when Dawson scored her third straight goal.

After Cabrini (0-2) cut it to 10-7 with a goal 2:22 into the second half, Ursinus put the game away with four straight goals, three of which came from the stick of Moyer.

Ursinus scored six of its goals on free position shots on eight attempts, with Moyer, Dawson, Verman and Ebert all connecting on their attempts.

Defensively, senior midfielder Caroline Cannon had three caused turnovers along with five ground balls with Deliberti picking up five draw controls.

Sophomore goalkeeper Margaret Philbin had ten saves on the day, moving to 2-1 on the season.
