ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Muhlenberg darted out to a 9-1 lead as the Mules (8-7, 3-6 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (4-12, 1-8 Centennial) 16-11 in women's lacrosse play on Saturday.
For Ursinus, senior Taylor Egolf and freshman Brynn Dietzel along with junior Nicole Kovacs each had three goals for the Bears in the loss.
Senior Elizabeth Chatburn had four ground balls to lead Ursinus, while freshman Devin Brakel and senior Lauren Garganio each had two draw controls. Chatburn also had three caused turnovers.
In goal, freshman Margaret Philbin had ten saves.
