GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Fifth-ranked Gettysburg (12-1, 6-0 Centennial) owned a 10-1 lead at halftime as the Bullets defeated Ursinus (4-8, 1-4 Centennial) 13-3 on Saturday afternoon in women's lacrosse play.
The Bears got goals from Kathleen McElroy, Megan Horney and Jessica Hill in the loss, while Caroline Cannon, Lauren Garganio and Amber Moyer each had assists.
Devin Brakel finished with two draw controls while Mary Deliberti had one. Deliberti also had two caused turnovers on the day, with Brakel adding in four ground balls.
In goal, Riley Pembroke had eight saves in the first half, while Margaret Philbin had one in the second half.
