Women's Lacrosse downed by Drew, 13-8

MADISON, N.J. – Drew started the game on a 6-1 run and never looked back as the Rangers (5-7) defeated Ursinus (6-7) 13-8 on Tuesday night in women's lacrosse action.

Stacie Brown and Cara Jeffries each had three goals for the Rangers, while Brown also added in two goals.

For Ursinus, junior attack Emily Diehl (Lebanon, N.J.), junior attack Kim Peifer (Collegeville, Pa.) along with sophomore midfielder Elizabeth Chatburn (Dresher, Pa.) each had two goals, with junior midfielder Alyssa Thren (Barto, Pa.) throwing in two assists.

Individually, freshman goalkeeper Riley Pembroke (Great Falls, Va.) had eight saves and three ground balls.

Ursinus will go to McDaniel on Saturday.
