COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women’s lacrosse team got a late goal from sophomore midfielder Emily Diehl (Lebanon, N.J./Voorhees) with just 1:41 remaining in regulation as the Bears (6-2, 2-0 Centennial) earned a 10-9 win over Haverford (8-1, 1-1 Centennial) late Wednesday night.

Junior midfielder Emily Hummel (Lumberton, N.J./Moorestown Friends), who finished with team-best three goals, scored with 5:36 left to tied the score at 9-all.

Junior attack Lindsay Urban (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) joined Diehl and Sezack with two goals each in the win.

For Haverford, Josie Ferri finished with three goals and two assists, while Alexa Pesce had two.

Defensively, Hummel had five groundballs in the win, to go along with eight saves.
