ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Emily McGarrigle continued a run of consistent performances and Jessica Lamarca posted the best score of her collegiate career for the Ursinus College women's golf team on the first day of the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday.
McGarrigle finished the first round in 9th place after an 11-over 83 at Hanover Country Club. The senior sits just two shots out of fourth and six back of Gettysburg's Skylar Frankiewicz atop the leaderboard.
Lamarca edged past her previous season low with a 96, one shot better than her back-to-back rounds of 97 at the Revolutionary Collegiate Classic in the fall.
Sophomore Addisen Miller finished with a 129, and junior Alissa DiGuglielmo carded a 168.
