LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's golf team continued a busy stretch of its spring schedule by competing in a tri-match hosted by Jefferson on Sunday.
Senior Emily McGarrigle led the way for the Bears with a 93 at the ACE Club, which also welcomed Alvernia and one individual player from Dominican (N.Y.). Ursinus finished with a team total of 437, with Jefferson edging Alvernia's 353 by just three strokes.
Freshman Jessica Lamarca extended a run of consistent play with a 100 for the Bears. The rookie has cracked the 100-stroke barrier twice this season with a low of 97, and only one other round has been over 102.
Freshman Carolyn DeCicco was third for Ursinus with a 118, and sophomore Addisen Miller shot a 126. Junior Alissa DiGuglielmo finished with a season-best 156.
