The Ursinus College women's golf team has checked off many accomplishments on their list this fall. Among them were: breaking a one-day school record, breaking a two-day school record, an individual one-day record, an individual two-day record, along with runner-up in both one-day and two-day invitationals.
Today, the Bears checked off one more accomplishment by winning their first tournament in school history as they captured the Alvernia University Women's Golf Invitational with a score of 38
Freshman Emily McGarrigle shot a 93 to lead the way for Ursinus at the very tough Ledgerock CC, while Rebecca Chiger was next at a 97. Rebecca Honor and Sarah Thompson each posted 99, while Matison Leand shot 104.
