Women's Golf competes in two weekend events

The Ursinus College women's golf team had a busy weekend, competing in two invitationals on back-to-back days.

On Saturday, the Bears competed at the Susquehanna University Fall Invitational, finishing seventh with a score of 476. On Sunday, the Bears competed at the Gettysburg College Fall Invitational, finishing ninth with a score of 470.

At the Susquehanna Invitational, senior Alyssa Sardone (Old Bridge, N.J./Rutgers Prep) finished 14th overall with a  score of 104, while junior Rebecca Honor (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) was tied for 20th with a score 112.

Freshman Sara Thompson (Thorndale, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) was third on the team with a score of 122, while freshman Shelby Bryant (Livermore Falls, Maine/Spruce Mountain) finished with a score of 138.

At the Gettysburg Invitational, Honor was the team leader with a score of 97, while Sardone posted a 104. Thompson had a 125, followed by Bryant with a 144.
