Women's Golf sixth at McDaniel Fall Invitational

WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Ursinus College women's golf team finished sixth at the McDaniel Fall Invitational on Saturday afternoon,  finishing with a total team score of 474.

According to head coach Wes Hollis, the course (The Bridges) played rough and the entire field struggled.

Junior Rebecca Honor (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) led the way with a score of 108, tied for 24th. Freshman Sarah Thompson (Thorndale, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) shot a 119 and finished one spot head of senior Nicole Mina (Wayne, Pa./Conestoga), who shot a career-best 122.

Freshman Shelby Bryant (Livermore Falls, Maine/Spruce Mountain), who celebrated her birthday on Saturday, shot a 125.
