Konstanzer Named Second Team All-Mid-Atlantic

All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team

COLLEGVILLE, Pa. – Lydia Konstanzer furthered her place in Ursinus College women's basketball lore with a second team All-Mid-Atlantic Region certificate from D3hoops.com.

Konstanzer, who became the first regional rookie of the year in program history two seasons ago, added to her historic list of accolades as just the Bears' second D3hoops.com all-region honoree; Lindsay Teuber was a second team performer in 2012.

Konstanzer was a dominant force on the interior in securing first team All-Centennial Conference laurels and leading Ursinus to the conference semifinals for the first time since 2007. She nearly averaged a double-double at 15.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, ranking fourth in the league in rebounding and sixth in scoring. The Bears' all-time leader in double-doubles, Konstanzer paced the CC in total rebounds and finished second in steals (57), field goals (160), and offensive rebounds; third in defensive rebounds (148); fourth in points (408); and sixth in both blocks (28) and field-goal percentage (45.1).

Always effective in important games, Konstanzer went off for 19 points and 16 rebounds in the Bears' 57-38 rout of Muhlenberg in the first round of the CC playoffs.
