LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eight members of the Ursinus College softball team were recognized as 2019 Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athletes.

Mackenzie Brennan, Faith Carson, Morgan Comfort, Samantha Garritano, Gabrielle Manto, Kailey Martin, Kayla Quinn, and Ally St. Jean were among the record 8,161 student-athletes to receive the honor, which require a 3.50 GPA or higher and highlight the academic prowess of softball programs across the Association's membership categories.

Carson, Comfort, Garritano, Manto, and Quinn also garnered spots on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.

The Bears finished 20-19-1 overall and 10-6 in conference play in 2019, qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in seven years.
