DALLAS, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's cross country team took third at the Cougar Classic hosted by Misericordia on Saturday afternoon.

More importantly Sam Stortz (Dresher, Pa./Upper Dublin) took first place in the event, crossing the line with a total time of 27:26.99. Sophomore Jatin Narang (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) was fourth overall with a time of 27:58.69, followed by junior Mark Gapinski (Sinking Spring, Pa./Holy Name) in 15^th place at 29:01.66.

Sophomore Charles Wacker (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) took 20^th overall with a time of 29:42.50, with senior Bogdan Lisachenko (Philadelphia, Pa./J.R. Masterson) crossing the line at 29:44.82 in 21^st place.

Senior Adam Dicaprio (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Poughkeepsie) finished with a mark of 29:45.22 in 22nd, followed by junior Amos Almy (Charleston, Maine/Foxcroft Academy) with a mark of 29:47.40 in 23^rd place.
